1. Fender assembly

Repair procedures

Replacement

•	When removing the fender, wrap protective tape around a screwdriver or remover not to damage components

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries

•	When removing the clips, use a clip remover.

1.	Remove the front bumper. (Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Assembly")

2.	Loosen the mounting screws and then remove the front bumper side mounting bracket (A).

3.	Remove the fender side cover (A).

4.	Remove the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) assembly. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "DRL (Daytime Running Lights)")

5.	Remove the front wheel guard. (Refer to Body Side Molding - "Front Wheel Guard")

6.	Remove the fender garnish. (Refer to Body Side Molding - "Fender Garnish.")

7.	Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the delta garnish (A).

Loosen the mounting bolts remove the fender assembly (A).

Tightening torque :

(B) : 7.7 - 11.6 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

Repair procedures Adjustment 1. After loosening the hinge (A) mounting bolt, adjust the hood (B) by moving it up and down or from side to side and tighten the bolt.

Removal 1. If a compressor is available, the air conditioner is operated for a few minutes in the engine idle state and then the engine is stopped. 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
