The ESP OFF switch is for the user to turn off the ESP system.

The ESP OFF lamp is on when ESP OFF switch is engaged.

Removal 1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. 2. Pull up the lock of the HECU connector and then disconnect the connector (A).
Removal 1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.
Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector. 3. Measure resistance between terminal "+" and "-" of the evaporator temperature sensor.
Inspection 1. Emit intensive light toward the photo sensor using a lamp, and check the output voltage change. 2. The voltage will rise with higher intensive light and reduce with lower intensive light.
