Hyundai Santa Fe: Rear Heater / Rear Evaporator Core. Repair procedures

Remove the rear heater & A/C unit.
(Refer to Rear Heater - "Rear Heater Unit")

2. |
Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear A/C lower case (A).
|
3. |
Remove the rear evaporator core (A).
|
4. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replacement

Be careful not to damage the parts located under the vehicle
(floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank and canister) when
raising the vehicle using the lift...
Replacement
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the luggage side trim [RH]...
Other information:
When the engine stops automatically by ISG, the engine will restart if one of
the following is done.
- Release the brake pedal.
- When Auto Hold is activated, take your foot off the brake pedal and then depress
the accelerator pedal.
- While depressing the brake pedal, shift the gear from N (Neutral) or D (Drive)
to R (Reverse) or P (Park)...
