Description Power tailgate is an electro-mechanical system designed to provide power opening and closing of the tailgate through the push of a button of a remote key (fob), console switch, inner switch or an outside handle switch of the tailgate.

Inspection Tailgate normal operation transmit / receive process    • FOB key Switch : FOB key Switch → BMC / SMK → CAN communication → PTG Module • Driver Switch : Driver Switch → Wiring → PTG Module • Outer Switch : Outer Switch → Wiring → SJB → CAN communication → PTG Module â‘  Press the power tailgate open switch â‘¡ Transmit / receive power tailgate open signal via CAN communication and wiring â‘¢ Power tailgate open    • The operation of the power tailgate is activated by mutual communication with the vehicle's module and switch.
