Description Camshaft Position Sensor (CMPS) is a hall sensor and detects the camshaft position by using a hall element. It is related with Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) and detects the piston position of each cylinder which the CKPS can't detect.
Inspection 1. Check the signal waveform of the CMPS and CKPS using the diagnostic tool. Specification : Refer to "DTC Diagnostic Guide" Removal • DON’T remove the camshaft position sensor during engine running or right after engine stops, or a scald by the flowed out engine oil may occur.
Description and operation Description It's a system that uses illumination sensor to automatically turn ON the tail lamp and head lamp based on the change in surrounding environment's illumination condition. It activates when the vehicle enters/exits tunnel, or when the illumination condition in surrounding environ
Description and operation Description Rear Corner Radar is a system that measures the relative speed and distance from the following vehicles by using two electromagnetic wave radar sensors attached to the rear bumper, and detects any vehicle within the blind spot zone and gives off alarm.
