1. Insert a slim tool into the slot and gently pry open the cover.
2. Remove the old battery and insert the new battery. Make sure the battery position is correct.
3. Reinstall the rear cover of the remote key.
If you suspect your remote key might have sustained some damage, or you feel your remote key is not working correctly, it is recommended that you contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/charging station. 3. When the engine is cool, drain the engine coolant from the radiator.
Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh air position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7.
