Hyundai Santa Fe: Airbag Module / Passenger Airbag (PAB) Module. Description and operation
The passenger airbag (PAB) is installed inside the crash pad and protects the
front passenger in the event of a frontal crash. The SRSCM determines if and
when to deploy the PAB.

Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag
module (squib) even if you are using a specified tester. If
the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accidental
airbag deployment will result in serious personal injury.

System malfunction
When Rear View Monitor is not working properly, or the screen flickers, or the
camera image does not display normally, we recommend that the system be inspected
by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Limitations of the system
When the vehicle is stopped for a long time in winter or when the vehicle is
parked in an indoor parking lot, the exhaust fumes may temporarily blur the image...
