Put on gloves to protect your hands.

|
When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective
tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to
prevent damage.
|

|
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces
to protect from marring the surface.
|
•
|
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
|
|

Press the lock pin (B) and then remove the crash pad under cover (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of an air bag deploying unexpectedly and causing serious
injury or death:
Do not hit or allow any objects to impact the locations where air
bags or sensors are installed.
Do not perform maintenance on or around the air bag sensors...
Auto Hold maintains the vehicle in a standstill even though the brake pedal is
not depressed after the driver brings the vehicle to a complete stop by depressing
the brake pedal.
To apply:
1. With the driver’s door, engine hood and liftgate (vehicle equipped with shift
button) closed, then press the AUTO HOLD switch...

This warning light illuminates:
When you set the ignition switch or the Engine Start/Stop button to
the ON position.
- The electric power steering warning light illuminates for about 3 seconds
and then goes off.
Whenever there is a malfunction with the electric power steering.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
