Hyundai Santa Fe: Parking Safety / Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW)
Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning will help warn the driver if an obstacle
is detected within a certain distance when the vehicle is moving forward or in reverse
at low speeds.

System settings
Warning Volume
Select ‘Driver Assistance → Warning Volume’ from the cluster or infotainment
system Settings menu to change the Warning Volume to ‘High’, ‘Medium’, or ‘Low’
for Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning.
Parking Distance Warning Auto On
To use Parking Distance Warning Auto On function, select ‘Driver Assistance →
Parking Safety → Parking Distance Warning Auto On’ from the cluster or infotainment
system Settings menu.
System malfunction
After starting the engine, a beep will sound when the gear is shifted to R (Reverse)
to indicate the system is operating normally.

sensor is damaged or blocked with foreign material...

Other information:
To use each feature, you must select the opening speed or opening height from
the settings menu. Deselect the settings when you do not want to use the feature.
