Hyundai Santa Fe: ESP(Electronic Stability Program) System / ESP OFF Switch. Repair procedures

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad")

Remove the crash pad garnish assembly (A).

Remove the connector (A) by pressing the locking pin.

5. |
Remove the ESP OFF switch (A) after loosening the screw.

To install, reverse the removal procedures.

Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the release actuator (B).

The paddle shifter is available when the shift button is in the D (Drive) position
or the manual shift mode.
With the shift button in the D position
The paddle shifter will operate when the vehicle speed is more than 6 mph.
Pull the [+] or [-] paddle shifter once to shift up or down one gear and the
system changes from automatic mode to manual shift mode...

This warning light illuminates:
When you set the ignition switch or the Engine Start/Stop button to
the ON position.
- The electric power steering warning light illuminates for about 3 seconds
and then goes off.
Whenever there is a malfunction with the electric power steering.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
